Supplier Terms & Conditions

These terms govern the relationship between SelectAndPay and registered suppliers on our platform.

Effective date: 1 April 2026

1.About These Terms

These Supplier Terms and Conditions ("Supplier Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("Supplier", "you") and SelectAndPay Ltd ("SelectAndPay", "we", "us", "our") when you register as a supplier on the SelectAndPay platform. By registering, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Supplier Terms.

These Supplier Terms should be read alongside our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2.Supplier Registration & Approval

To list your services on SelectAndPay, you must complete the supplier registration process and be approved by our team. By registering, you confirm that:

  • You are a legitimately operating business in the United Kingdom
  • You hold all necessary licences and permits required by law, including a valid waste carrier licence issued by the Environment Agency (or equivalent authority)
  • You have appropriate public liability insurance (minimum £5 million recommended)
  • You have the authority to bind your business to these terms
  • All information provided during registration is accurate and up to date

SelectAndPay reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove any supplier at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of poor service quality, customer complaints, or failure to maintain required licences.

3.Commission & Payment Terms

SelectAndPay operates on a commission-based model. The following terms apply to all bookings made through the platform:

Commission rates may be adjusted with 30 days' written notice. Suppliers participating in the referral programme may be eligible for reduced commission rates as outlined in the programme terms.

4.Service Standards & Obligations

As a supplier on SelectAndPay, you agree to maintain the following standards:

  • Timely delivery: Deliver skips within the time window selected by the customer (morning, afternoon, or all-day)
  • Accurate pricing: Keep your pricing up to date on the platform. The price shown to the customer at the time of booking is the price that will be charged
  • Communication: Respond to customer enquiries within 24 hours via the platform messaging system
  • Legal compliance: Dispose of all waste in accordance with UK environmental regulations and duty of care requirements
  • Professional conduct: Treat all customers with courtesy and professionalism
  • Availability: Keep your availability calendar up to date to prevent overbooking
  • Insurance: Maintain valid public liability insurance for the duration of your registration

5.Cancellations & Refunds

Customer cancellations are handled in accordance with our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Key points for suppliers:

  • If a customer cancels more than 48 hours before delivery, the full booking amount (less platform commission) will not be paid out
  • If a customer cancels between 24 and 48 hours before delivery, 75% of the booking value will be processed
  • If a customer cancels less than 24 hours before delivery, the full booking value will be paid to the supplier
  • If a supplier cancels a confirmed booking, SelectAndPay reserves the right to issue a full refund to the customer and may apply penalties to the supplier's account

Repeated cancellations by a supplier may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.

6.Customer Reviews & Ratings

Customers may leave reviews and ratings after a completed booking. SelectAndPay does not edit or remove genuine reviews, even if they are negative. However, we will investigate and remove reviews that:

  • Contain offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory language
  • Are fraudulent or left by someone who did not use the service
  • Contain personal information about the supplier or their employees

Supplier tier badges (Gold, Silver, Bronze) are calculated automatically based on completion rate, average rating, and booking volume.

7.Data Protection & Customer Information

When fulfilling bookings, you will receive customer information (name, address, phone number, delivery instructions). You agree to:

  • Use customer data solely for the purpose of fulfilling the booking
  • Not contact customers for marketing purposes outside the platform
  • Not share customer data with any third party
  • Handle all personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018
  • Delete customer data once the booking has been completed and any statutory retention period has passed

8.Intellectual Property & Branding

You grant SelectAndPay a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your business name, logo, and service descriptions on the platform for the purpose of listing and promoting your services. You retain ownership of all your intellectual property.

You may not use the SelectAndPay name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

9.Liability & Indemnity

SelectAndPay acts as an intermediary connecting customers with suppliers. We are not a party to the contract for services between you and the customer. You are solely responsible for:

  • The quality and safety of your services
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Any damage caused to customer property during service delivery
  • Proper and lawful disposal of all waste collected

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SelectAndPay against any claims, losses, or damages arising from your services or breach of these terms.

10.Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement by providing 14 days' written notice. SelectAndPay may terminate immediately if:

  • You breach any material term of this agreement
  • You lose any required licence or permit
  • You receive multiple unresolved customer complaints
  • You engage in fraudulent or dishonest conduct

Upon termination, any outstanding payouts for completed bookings will be processed within 30 days. Pending bookings will be reassigned or cancelled with full customer refunds.

11.Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and a customer, SelectAndPay will act as a mediator through our dispute resolution process. Both parties agree to cooperate in good faith to resolve disputes. SelectAndPay's decision on dispute outcomes is final.

For disputes between you and SelectAndPay, we will first attempt to resolve the matter informally. If this is not possible, the dispute will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

12.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Supplier Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
